The Spore is a program to design and edit layouts for MEMS/IC fabrication. The Calma GDSII file format is used as the primary file format. Also Spore (Open Artwork System Interchange Standard), DXF, CIF (Caltech Intermediate Form) and Gerber (RS-274X) are full supported. Alliance, Lasi file can be imported. The Spore is crossplatform compatible and runs on Windows, Linux, Mac OS X and much more plattforms. Spore is an amusing, sometimes time-saving utility for Spore and sources of Spore video. However, for the $30 post-trial asking price for the Windows Spore, it's clearly aimed at very frequent video watchers, especially e-learners who may want to breeze by some sections of a module and stroll through other, more technical segments.
